Mural Design Contest
Details
Thank you for participating in the Del City Chamber Mural Design Contest.
The Del City Chamber is needing a wall in our office painted with a mural. The theme is “Del City Over the Years.” We ask that each student (or group of no more than 3) submit a draft of what they would paint and a short explanation of why they chose to design it. We will be taking submissions until October 11th, which you can submit to your art teacher or main office. At our October 17th Board Meeting we will choose the winner(s) and they will be informed later that day.
The wall is roughly 8x8 foot. Your design does not need to fit the while 8x8 area, but we do ask that it can scale up to no smaller than 4x4. Paint and materials will be provided.
Once you have been selected, we will schedule a few days for you to come after school to paint. We will also give the winner(s) $100 each as a prize upon completion of the mural. Transportation must be provided by the student or by their parent.
