39th Annual Armed Forces Day & Shrinerโs Parade
We are excited to announce the 39th Annual Armed Forces Day & Shrinerโs Parade on May 16th, 2026 presented by Tinker Federal Credit Union! The Del City Chamber is looking forward to celebrating our amazing U.S. Armed Forces. Be sure to sign-up to be in this years parade as we show our appreciation for our service men and women.
Details:
The parade is scheduled for May 16th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The opening ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m. Check-in for participants will begin at 8:00 a.m., we will have more information in the coming weeks about staging, parade route, line-up, and more. Please have your application submitted or turned in no later than May 1st, 2026.
Order of Events:
Join us for a full day of celebration as we honor our Armed Forces and bring the community together for a day of patriotism, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.

West of Sunnylane on 29th Street will close at 7:00 AM
Additional closures extending to Vickie Drive will occur closer to parade start time

New Route/Festival Update:
The red line down 29th St will be the new route. It will begin west of Bill Eisenhour and head east to Vickie Dr.
The red areas will be parking for our parade entrants, city staff, and volunteers. The purple area will be where the parade entries will be lined up. Keep in mind that 29th between Munser and Dave Smith Dr (Glenn Ave) will be shut down beginning at 7am.
The festival portion will be on Rose Ln and Epperly Dr. between 28th and 29th St. The blue area will be where our vendors will be able to set up. The green area will be where the food trucks, tents, tables, and chairs will be located. The purple area will be where our vendors will be able to park. The orange area will be for overflow for vendors, city staff, and volunteers. Keep in mind that Epperly Dr. between 28th and 29th St will be closed starting in the evening of May 15th till the conclusion of the events on Epperly.
